Luke 13:18-21
Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to? It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches.”
Again he asked, “What shall I compare the kingdom of God to? It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.”
Reflection
The kingdom of God touched the earth when Jesus appeared over two thousand years ago. Since He died for our sins and ascended, His kingdom has spread to the ends of the earth.
Are you ready for it? Knowing that the Lord Jesus Christ is returning soon, have you made it a point to forgive all your enemies? Have you been sharing the gospel? Have you been delivering and healing in Jesus’ name? Get ready, because like His promises in His Word are true, our Lord is coming back to rule and reign with us! What a joyous occasion!
